Final Thoughts on Jason, Melissa, Molly, and RS.

Well, its been a wild ride the past three weeks ! I didn't want to make a final statement on this season's show until I saw at least part of the Jason/Molly apology tour, and now I think I've seen all I care to see. So, just a brief overview of things...

First of all, I think its time for Jason and Molly to go back to their private lives and sort out what they really want from their relationship. If they do indeed love each other, the only way to find out how deep that love truly is would be to get past the bizarre circumstances of the Bachelor and TV in general.

While Jason deserves much of the public criticism for his recent actions, I believe Molly has been treated very unfairly by the media, and by a few bloggers as well. If Molly truly loves Jason, I say leave her alone, as its none of our business now. Nor was it the business of certain bloggers who spread rumors about Molly, you know - guys like RS who claimed that Molly and Jason were meeting on weekends while Jason and Melissa were still engaged. That rumor was false -and never should have been published to begin with. Furthermore, it was nothing more than a cheap shot at a person who had no way to defend herself. Shame on you RealitySteve, you owe Molly an apology !

That leads to Melissa - I thought something was strange about her "TV tour" this past week as well. First of all, she goes on the ATR show and crys like a woman scorned, while allowing Jason to humiliate and dump her on national TV. Then a few days later on the Ellen show, Melissa says the breakup with Jason was mutual and that they hadn't even been talking... HUH ? If the breakup was mutual, then why such anger from Melissa during the ATR show ? And why allow Jason to dump her on TV if they were broken up already ? Like everything else with this season's show, something just doesn't add up here....And now Melissa is once again on another reality TV show....an ABC show nonetheless !! If it were me in that situation, I sure as hell wouldn't have gone on TV acting like the victim if the relationship had already been mutually ended - if anything, I would've dumped Jason on TV in retribution...but thats me.

Finally, I'm glad this whole mess is just about over...from Jason's bizarre behavior....to ABC's immoral and unethical drive for ratings....and to RS's self flatuating conspiracies about the "scripting" of the show. The "reality" is this - the only thing RS got right(along with Laura Saltman and numerous tabloids) was the actual events that took place on the broadcast of the Finale, and the ATR show. But by doing so, RS spoiled the ending for millions of loyal viewers due to his selfish and self righteous motivations. Add injury to insult, RS tarnished the character of Molly, and he has yet to offer any kind of apology. Perhaps RealitySteve will sell her one of his upcoming merchandising items at a discount. LOL

As for me, it was never my intention to be a full time blogger, but with the tremendous response we've received on this blog in such a short period of time, I'm thinking of keeping it open. If anyone would like to run it, please let me know soon, as its time for a vacation....I hear New Zealand is nice this time of year......

Peace

Sorry Jason....I'm going dancing....

There are many ways to get over a breakup. Some cry. Others drink themselves into oblivion. And some just rebound onto another ABC reality series real quickly.

Melissa Rycroft, who was just infamously dumped by Jason Mesnick on the shocking season finale, will hopefully turn her sorrows into dancing by stepping into injured Nancy O'Dell's spot on the upcoming season of "Dancing With the Stars". Look for all the drama to unfold on Season 8's premiere at 8 Monday night.
